To my issue though! My backups are failing with multiple tape errors, and the tapes are eventually marked with the End marker unreadable message of doom. I still hold a certain level of bitterness about this. I blame the crypto techs that were onboard a few days earlier that unscrewed it from the rack. Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I am fighting what seems to be the most uphill battle of my career thus far, and I've adjusted Cisco router configs during battle scenarios in a storm in the middle of the Northern Atlantic on a small ship in the winter! This was once we found the router that got tossed behind a cabinet by the extreme angles we were taking. Without any definitive indications of what the issue is, we're going to replace the tape drive today and go from there.
